The Stroemple Collection comprises additional works of art united under the theme of natural history. Contemporary paintings, sculpture and photography; 19th century American paintings; Japanese Meiji objects; Native American artifacts; and examples of traditional craft are also represented the Stroemple Collection.

The mission of this unique private collection is to further collect works of art to enhance the established foci, to share the collections through traveling exhibitions, and to provide engaging educational experiences through the presentation of material culture.
